LIBRARY CARDS
Your first card is free. Children over the age of six may have their own card if a parent is with the child when he/she applies for a card.
We require your driver’s license number when issuing new library cards, plus printed proof of your address (voter’s registration, utility bill, checkbook imprint, etc.). Parents must present their own I.D. for their children and agree to pay for any materials damaged or lost.
You may check out one item the first time you use your card. After 24 hours and the first item has been returned, you may check out as many items as you wish. However, the following limits apply:

• 3 non fiction books with the same call number
• 3 books by the same author
• 3 video cassettes
LOAN PERIODS   AND OVERDUE   BOOKS Books, Audio Books and Magazines may be borrowed for 21 days and can be renewed once, provided no one else is waiting for the title. Overdues are 10 cents a day for books, magazines and audio books. Videocassettes (limit 3) may be borrowed for 3 days and may be renewed once. The overdue fine for videos is $1.00 per title, per day

Tuesdays of each week is Fine- Free Day
RESERVES • You may reserve any item.
INTERLIBRARY LOANS If we do not have a book that you need, we may be able to borrow it from another library. There is a $1.50 fee for each book received. Genealogy books cannot be borrowed. Magazine article and census microfilm may be obtained; cost for these items vary.
FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND BLIND The library has large print books and audio tapes. we also are a referral site for people wishing to receive the National Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.

PERIODICALS & NEWSPAPERS
Newspapers and the following periodicals are for in house use only. U.S. News & World Report, Newsweek, Consumer Reports, Time, Life & National Geographic. All other magazines will circulate on the same basis as books.
Weekly periodicals will stay in the library a period of two weeks before circulating. Monthly periodicals will not circulate during their current month.
COMPUTERS
On-line computers are available for public use. Please note: computer permits will be issued to minors with parental approval.
COPIER & COPIES
Our copier can reduce or enlarge from your original document. Price: 20 cents for standard-size, 25 cents for legal-size and 30 cents for 11" x 17" size sheet. The microfilm reader- printer’s copies are 25 cents a sheet.
