The Family Place Library Community Involvement Meeting,
Saturday, April 19, 2008, 10:00am-noon. Lunch will be served.
Magness Library & Community House is one of only
250 Family Place Libraries in the nation;
and the first and only one in Tennessee.
The Family Place Project is an initiative of
Libraries for the Future, Middle Country Public Library
in Centereach, New York and partnering libraries.
Family Place is a recognized leader in children’s and family services
in the library setting; addressing the needs of children at the
earliest ages and supporting the role of parent as the child’s
first and most important teacher.
As a community leader concerned with early childhood development,
your interest in and support of Magness Library’s participation
in this important project is vital to its success.
